Halee Raff is the chef behind Hardbitten, the gourmet tart queen of Chicago amongst other talents. Hardbitten was started in the beginning of the pandemic to bring chef made meals to the homes of hungry clients who wanted to try food from a Michelin trained chef. Hardbitten is now 3 years old and we offer catering, private chef services, cooking classes, custom cakes and a full lined of baked goods. Find our tarts in 20+ stores all over Chicago-Land.
Halee Raff went to Johnson and Wales culinary school and graduated in 2014 with her bachelors in business, food service management. Before launching Hardbitten, she had worked at some of Chicago’s finest Michelin starred restaurants as a cook and chef; Tru, Sixteen, Band of Bohemia, Naha. She also spent time at Brindille, Momotaro and 4c Group. Hardbitten is a woman owned and ran business , bringing color to the world of pastry and our food.
